In order to support our state and community’s efforts to combat the Coronavirus COVID-19 contagion we are temporarily suspending all our services and activities  until further notice.

We realize these temporary suspensions will disappoint many who enjoy our Sunday service, Sunday School class and Youth service. The church will remain open on Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Sunday Morning services will be live streamed on Facebook and you are welcome to join us.

Finally, we want to acknowledge that Coronavirus COVID-19 is a serious matter that must be addressed proactively and with due diligence. If you are feeling ill, please stay home and join us by Facebook live without feeling guilty or condemned. Health officials recommend that the elderly and those with health issues should distance themselves socially and we support those efforts. We also urge everyone to follow the recommendations of the CDC regarding personal hygiene and public health. Click on the FIND OUT MORE Button to the right.

Word of Encouragement

Coronavirus is a concern; we should take precautions.  “Do not be afraid!” is the phrase God spoke throughout the Scriptures as He called His people to a life of courage in the face of uncertainty. And I believe He’s speaking this same word to us today as we enter an unprecedented season of uncertainty in our community, our nation, and the world. The current extremes with this pandemic are panic or denial.  Some are shrugging their shoulders, as if this is not a significant event and basically ignoring simple precautions that would greatly limit the spread of the virus. Panic has sent our financial markets into chaos and has many people hoarding staple goods like it’s the end of the world. Our trust should be in the Sovereign hand of God who enables us to live our lives, even in the face of situations like we find ourselves in today. GOD IS ON THE THRONE AND THERE IS POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS! So, don’t allow fear and anxiety to overwhelm your mind. Scripture reminds us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. This means we should take wise precautions to stay healthy but resist a panicked response that disables the Sovereign hand of God in our lives.
